In one scene, George Clooney and Sandra Bullock’s characters are tethered together by a rope

Trying to write and direct an accurate science fiction movie is no easy feat, especially when there are so many people willing to tell when you’re wrong. The nothingness of space awaits anyone who gets separated from their ship, and that’s what the characters in Gravity were trying to avoid.

They are forced to cut the rope as Kowalski is pulling Stone out with him. In reality that could have been prevented with a tug toward Stone, as the rope was more than capable of holding them both as they were in the same orbit. Those who know a fair bit about science were keen to point out that this could have completely ended the issue in the whole film.

La La Land (2016)

La La Land had everyone going gaga when it came out in 2016. The film transported us all back to the golden age of Hollywood with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling doing their best Fred Astaire and Judy Garland impressions. It was the movie that took it all home during the 2017 awards season, managing to win a total of six Oscars and 237 other awards.

For many, the film was flawless, but there was one scene which raised a few eyebrows. Mia heads to the cafe to meet Sebastian with a little yellow handbag. When she leaves the cafe, she then has a huge red bag that came from nowhere. As there are plenty of different colors in the film, in what people wear and in their accessories, perhaps it was supposed to be a part of it. Maybe?

Whiplash (2014)

Miles Teller stars in Whiplash, a musical drama about a wannabe jazz drummer. Teller’s character, Andrew, enrolls in a jazz music class with a pretty tough teacher in the hopes of making his dreams become a reality. The downside is he must suffer the abuse from his teacher to get that success.

J. K. Simmons plays the role of Fletcher, the tough-talking teacher with some harsh punishments. However, there’s one big flaw in one of the scenes. When Andrew’s band plays “Whiplash” for the first time, the piano keys don’t match up to how the music sounds. The keys were ascending when they should have been descending. If you’re going to make a movie solely based on musicians, make sure you get some musicians in to get it right!

Lincoln (2012)

Lincoln is a 2012 biopic of the former President of the United State’s life and focuses on the final four months of his life from 1865, before he was assassinated. Daniel Day-Lewis portrays http://www.hookupdate.net/escort-index/roseville/ Abraham Lincoln in the movie and it was an impressive performance to say the least. It managed to win a total of two Oscars, but it wasn’t entirely accurate.

One historical inaccuracy found in the film is the use of the American flag and the number of stars used to represent the states. He rides through a battle scene with a soldier behind holding a flag with 38 stars, a flag that wasn’t used until 1877, which is over ten years after the event. If you’re going to do a historical film, at least get the number of stars on the flag right!

Dunkirk (2017)

Dunkirk is a historical drama set during the events of World War II. When the fighting is over the troops are setting sail for England, to return home and put the war behind them. It’s another film by the perfectionist Christopher Nolan, which is why this blooper seems like quite an odd one from the director.
